Traditional methods of treatment such as poltice, fillers, packing and soaking can be time consuming and difficult to manage. FootRot offers a revolutionary spray formula which has been developed to save precious time and labour. This all-natural spray is easy to apply and penetrates into the hoof to provide the support needed for healthy, strong hooves.

Aluminium acetate,  Tea tree oil

Apply to hoof, cornet band or affected area once or twice daily

  1. Remove mud from hoof and affected area
  2. Dry with a clean cloth
  3. Apply FootRot spray to affected area
  4. Keep horse in dry, clean area for 10 minutes to allow FootRot to penetrate and until hoof is dry

Can I use this in wet weather?
Yes, FootRot is easy to use in all types of weather. Simply spray on the hoof, let it absorb for a few minutes before releasing your horse. When paddocks are flooded, you should use FootRot on a daily basis.
Can I use this on other animals?
Yes, FootRot can be used on any animal with hooves, such as sheep, goats, cows and alpaca.
How quickly does it work?
Depending on the health of the hoof, it can take up to a week to notice a difference when used according to instructions on pack.
How often should I apply this to the hoof?
You can use FootRot once or twice daily, as required.
My paddocks are muddy, can I still use this on the hoof?
Yes, we recommend using FootRot when your paddocks are muddy and wet. Just give the spray a few minutes to dry on the hoof and then release them.
