Why take the risk with chemicals when natural alternatives are just as effective?

The most common method of treating fleas is with the use of pesticides made from toxic chemicals that kill fleas.  For those that are unaware, there are many documented risks associated with pesticides. We are told not to allow these chemicals to touch our skin or to wash it straight off if it makes contact with us.  If it isn’t ok for our skin then it shouldn’t be ok for our pets!

How does Diatomaceous Earth work?

Diatomaceous Earth is based on a centuries-old insect remedy. Diatomaceous Earth is ancient geological deposits of fossilized skeletons of microscopic organisms.  The geological deposits are broken into tiny pieces that are razor sharp at the microscopic level, to humans and pets it feels like a fine powder.  When a flea comes into contact with it, their protective coating is pierced, which dries out insects on contact.  Fleas will dehydrate and die.
